Nick Salcedo is a musician, producer, entrepreneur and Marine Corps veteran. Since his discharge in 2004, Nick has been everything from a researcher at the RAND corporation to a line cook, all the while continuing his lifelong passion for song composition. More recently, Nick has sought to find a synthesis of his creative interests and passion for outreach. As a creative entrepreneur, his current project is called The Smoky Village, the mission of which is to tie together music, art, and culinary arts with local communities. Nick has also scored for film and the play Odysseus in Symphony, a work dealing with a veteran’s travels which he also co-produced. He is a part of the veteran-focused startups VRC Music and VRC Films.
